Sikinos’ Chora is built in the northwest part of the island, on the edge of a bold cliff, 300m above the level of the sea and 3,5km from the port.
It is one of the most beautiful and graphic villages in Cyclades islands. It keeps its traditional identity and in the paths of the settlement yesterday and today come across under the volta of well saved houses.
Alopronia or Ano Pronia is the island’s port. It is located n the southeastern part of Sikinos, 3,5km from Chora. This small fish village is the first picture you see as the ship enters the port.
Episkopi is only 4km from Chora. In this region was built ancient Sikinos, Ions colony. You will see the remains of Pithio Apollo’s temple dated from the 3rd BC. In the same spot was built the church of the Dormation built during the 5th century. In fact for its construction were used architectonic parts of the ancient temple.
